This is a list of all the ensembles I’ve played in
-
Elementary School Band - bad, do not discuss, I’m not convinced I actually played during concerts
-
Middle School Band - bad, do not discuss, I definitely played a few notes during concerts
-
High School Concert Band - This is when I finally began to practice in earnest (learning the incredible lesson that when you practice things you get better at them). By senior year, I was in the top band. Some fun pieces we played include Fantasy on American Sailing Songs, Emperata Overture, Homage to Bharat, Give Us This Day, and March of the Resistance.
-
Marching Band - The pinnacle of my high school experience, we played three shows during my time with the band: Everybody Knows, Dark Horse, and Winter Sketches. I had the honor of serving as Mellophone Section Leader
-
High School Philharmonic Orchestra - In which I learned what a violin sounds like and played numerous pieces, most of which I have forgotten the names of.

-
High School All District Band - All three horn from Robinson got into district band by senior year and our chair order in this band was rather amusing. The girl who was in the band below symphonic was the highest chair, I was second highest, and the best player ended up one chair below me. Everything we played can be found on Spotify:
-
Main Street Community Band (Youtube) - I joined this community band while in community college and played several concerts with them. It’s a lovely group, and if you’re in the Fairfax area, I highly recommend joining up. Some of my favorite pieces included Affirmation, Casey at the Bat, Declaration Overture, and Holiday Piece.
-
Liberty University Band - This non-auditioned wind band at Liberty has been my musical home for the past 3 years, though unfortunately I won’t be returning for the 2026 spring semester due to a scheduling conflict. We’ve played some fun pieces including Scootin’ on Hard Rock, Jungle Fantasy, and Rocketship
