The grind continues day by day
The wheel just spins and spins
And slowly slowly we pull out
A couple decent wins
We take our goofy arguments
And say the things we say
But when all that is said and done
We rest to end the day
But if you’re me you grind anew
On projects that are due
I should have worked on them sooner
The coming days I rue
