The season is upon us now
Tis time to celebrate
Nativity of Lord and God
It changed the world’s fate
While inn was filled the King was born
Among the beasts and straw
And sheperds from the fields nearby
Came looking full of awe
And from afar the Magi came
The Sovereign to adore
The King of Kings in manger seen
Born as one of the poor
So for twelve days we’ll take some time
In mem’ry of that day
When Prince of Peace and Lord of Lords
Came down among the hay
