I slept through my first class today
Unfortunate it was
And all because I woke before
My own alarm clock’s buzz
I yawned and bumped my pillow off
Which knocked my water down
And so my clock fell off my desk
The crash would make me frown
I stirred from rest to fix the thing
But then thought “I want sleep”
So I’ll just use my phone to wake
And then, my rest, I’ll keep
But woe to those who use their phones
While they aren’t quite awake
‘Cause if you set them to PM
Your sleep they shall not shake
