Debate theory is just not fun
It’s stale and old and lame
Conditionality debates
Are all about the same
One team reads blocks of bullet points
Too fast to really flow
And then they are rejoined with args
Written decades ago
And while some points are straight up lies
Like all args are condo
There are some more important points
That people ought to know
But most of those are washed away
While whining reigns supreme
And tacky args are painted as
Cause to reject the team
Those problems I can’t fix alone
Repairs may take some time
But I can fix my own staleness
With metered verse and rhyme
So I’m starting a new project
To fix poetic lack
And rewrite all my theory blocks
To be less prosiac
