America’s birthday today
In a Montana town
Was celebrated in a way
That made it hard to frown

A neat parade around the town
Would form the days first trick
Following shortly after that
Was a well stocked picnic

And then we went back home to chill
Some fam’ly games we played
So we relaxed and socialized
Until dinner was made

Once we had eaten up our fill
We traveled up the road
To see the fireworks in town
And boy were there a load

We stayed and watched them by the fire
Until it twas time to go
And as we drove back, homeward bound
The fireworks in airbursts round
They filled my heart with feelings found
In lands were love doth flow
