The year’s road trip comes to a close
At least it does for me
‘Cause I wanted to go to a
Conf’rence and left early
So I’ve gotten home on a plane
With some minor delays
It could be worse, I’ve missed no flights
So what else can I say
It’s almost time to get work
And return to that grind

No trace of me you’ll find
So if you’ve missed my smiling face
Greatly while I’ve been gone
