My phone screen used to show me things
That weren’t just flats of green
But this morning upon my phone
The green is all I’ve seen
For misfortune has struck today
It’s more than I can bear
My working screen has left for good
And now there’s just a tear
I’m not sure how it first started
The interface damage
What started out as a small knick
Has grown by just a smidge
And now the screen is only green
And nothing else is there
So I’ve gone to other options
Unless, until, repair
But as for now, I’ve lost a bit
Of my signature flair
