While laughter is a worthy goal
Catharsis too is great
I think the sober acts of lift
I should appreciate
For though some fiddle while Rome burns
There’re better ways to rule
And maybe if I try I’ll find
Those while I’m at this school
Risible moments have their place
I’ll not begin to lie
But new tactics for somber moods
I think I’d like to try
