I need to write this in a rush
‘Cause it is getting late
The library is closing soon
They’re rolling down the gate
But I must scribe this missive fast
So I can leave my bag
Alone in locker overnight
So my shoulders don’t sag
It saves me time when Sunday comes
It means that I can go
From home, to church, to rot, to lib
In one consistent flow
Without an interruption to
Get satchel from my dorm
Which in this colder weather too
Will take away the warm
And so I will conclude this piece
With ten minutes to spare
And finish in a faster time
Than normally I dare
