The rain has made a dreary night
A chill is in the air
The season’s change is bittersweet
But leaves at least are fair

I bit my tongue today, it hurt
The pain was raging out
But these are things that happen
I lived after a shout

I’m dining dollar rich right now
And get things for my friends
We’ll see how long that trend shall last
Till funds have reached their end

Ice cream for breakfast is a treat
That started off my day
I have some coupons for the place
If you want some just say

My project group is crashing down
Our scheduling has flopped
So what we’ll do I still don’t know
And texts seem to have stopped

A Cookout run seemed right tonight
Six people in the truck
With friends like them to eat with me
I know that I’ve got luck

Assignment due dates change on me
They move backwards I guess
But lacking notice of the change
Moves don’t reduce my stress

The system doesn’t always work
Its patients it can fail
But hopefully my meager skill
Will grow to greater scale
