We made it into class today
And heard that there was planned
Excursion to a thrifting sale
But that plan had been canned

But little did professor know
We all wanted to go
We raised our hands, supported it
And disrupted class flow

So we all piled into the cars
And traveled to the lot
Where all the clothes were being sold
Where garments could be bought

And seeing lines snake through the crowd
We then chose to depart
But I will cherish time I had
Hold it close to my heart
