I love the Monogram a lot
The view is awfully nice
The walk isn’t an awful climb
Though it’d be were there ice
Today I went up to its height
And stared into the far
Looked down on tiny houses and
Examined tiny cars
I felt the sunshine on my skin
And listened to bugs zoom
The breeze moved air across my brow
As shadows slowly loomed
The sun traversed the clear blue sky
That didn’t have a cloud
The peace of sitting quietly
Where not a thing was loud
I think I shall return again
To heights that I now miss
For going to that vantage point
Can be a source of bliss
