I did some epic things today
Heard from a speaker too
Saw volleyball get awful close
Did work I had to do
I went to band and also got
A study of the word
Played with a child in library
And funny stories heard
But now I’ve got to go to bed
It’s already too late
For morning prayer’s coming soon
Seven on Tuesday’s date
So I shall bid you all adieu
To gather rest and sleep
So I can rise tomorrow morn
And my appointment keep
