Returning back to Liberty
Things are as when I left
My friends are scattered through the place
My coursework’s lacking heft
The arguments are silly still
The food is all the same
The conversations range from mild
To antonyms of tame
My locker has books in it still
My room is still well lit
By roommates massive monitor
Which bonkers drives a bit
But here I am in Lynchburg still
We’ll see what morning holds
But I bet something strange will come
If I shall be so bold
