The Zax went out one day and said
I’ll take a northward path
But when he met an obstacle
His soul was filled with wrath
This boulder will not move away
It’s sticking to the ground
I will not budge, not right nor left
But what path can be found?
He tried a pickaxe, no avail
He drilled away in fits
He blasted it with dynamite
And it was blown to bits
But in that fateful blast the math
Was done imperfectly
And he was left in craters range
Way out he could not see
So once again he’s mining out
A staircase through the earth
While those who put the boulder there
Are choking in their mirth
