A dead end we found
Reversing we’re stumped
A car was bumped
I sat in the grass
It sadly was wet
I have regret
A dog runs along
Under clasped hands
With wedding bands
In bold Swahili
Two smiling girls sing
Our Lord praising
They run underfoot
So joyful and free
Wish that were me
Man walked up the steps
Then striding he tripped
Off his shoes slipped?
The sun was quite bright
So while cold I tried
Reading outside
We pray for nations
Though I’m ill at ease
Too long on knees
Productive I’m not
Though that’s okay
It’s sabbath day
