I hope someday I’ll learn to see
In every day and hour
The beauty and the majesty
That’s shown forth from God’s power
In every face to see his work
Yes see it shining bright
To cherish Him in everything
And shine forth His true light
To salt my words and hold my tongue
To temper anger’s bite
And never speak a nasty word
Or fill my thoughts with spite
I hope and pray I’ll learn to live
In ways that shake the world
So all the residents therein
Can see Christ’s flag unfurled
And every day and hour you work
To guide my soul to Thee
And I will on that path become
The man You’d have me be
