A locker in the library
Can now hold all my things
A denizen of book’s abode
Is where I’m transforming

Abandoned by the management
Of former storage space
I drift into the broader world
Trying to find my place

Remembered by the friends I love
Retired from the fight
To go beyond windowless rooms
And see weekend’s sunlight

The blocks of time released are huge
The weight of wins has ceased
And blocks of words beyond my reach
No longer forehead crease

I’m free to act without constraint
And meddle where I may
To help my friends and hobble foes
And never touch a K

But what I’ve got for now is just
A place to store my stuff
And with the week I’ve had so far
I know that’s quite enough
