The lax game was proceeding well
With Liberty ahead
When suddenly without a hint
My life took turn for dread

“A giant spider crawls on you”
I urgently was told
“Enormous bug, perhaps a wasp
Is sitting on shirt fold!”

I looked behind and saw the thing
Just walking on my me
But as we looked a little more
We knew twas not a bee

A beetle black was moving there
And though a bit alarmed
I cannot say I was too scared
And I had not been harmed

But then my savior came to me
To deal with bug in wrath
She knocked it off my shoulder and
Scraped it across the path
