While sitting in the library
I start to overhear
A thing that sent me off the end
In ludicrousy sheer
A man had made a small prank call
He voiced like Donald Duck
But with that strong impression he
Found that he had some luck
The girl out on the other end
Three thousand miles away
Would go with what the prankster said
The game along she played
Eventually he got to jokes
Beyond the Bee Movie
He wondered if there was a chance
That she he’d someday see
I don’t know what he did for it
But hit it off they had
I hope that they are happy though
It made me a bit sad
As best I can tell, the story behind what happened in this event is that there has been a chain of prank calls and returned prank calls between people from Liberty(?) and a Texas(?) school that started at a YLS. This call was made by a mutual friend but non-party to the prank calls and he called a girl who may or may not have been directly related to the event as well. After that, the call proceeded as described in the poem, though other impressions included Goofy, Mickey Mouse, Seinfeld, the Bee Movie bee, Donald Trump, Obama, Kamala Harris, and maybe a few more.
I truly do not understand exactly what went down, all I know is that it was truly hilarious to listen to.
