I made it to my place of work
With a touch of delay
The yellow line was not my friend
What else is there to say?
But though I wasn’t quite on time
I was the first one there
Which would have been just fine with me
But deadbolt would impair
So while I was the first outside
I needed help to see
The inside of the office for
I needed the door’s key
But once one of the staff had come
I safely made it in
And all in all, I’ll take it cause
Much worse it could have been
