The road trip start was on this day
The journey we begin
As minivan departs from home
To go on two-week spin
We started up in NOVA first
And traveled south and west
Through heavy rain throughout the day
We passed the weather test
For lunch there was a local park
With swings and spinny thing
That though it’s made for 10-year-olds
They couldn’t reach jumping
But for the taller adults it
Was quite a joy to ride
When grabbed and hanging right side up
Or flipped and down upside
But back to travels that we made
We drove a unique street
Which sat upon the borderline
Of two states - Pretty neat
But once events were said and done
And dinner had been ate
We made it to our final stop
A hotel, now it’s late
Tomorrow we’ll go further in
And see the Nashville strip
To make the first of major stops
On this year’s Foos road trip
