I’m sitting here in empty home
There ain’t nobody here
But if I keep the lights all on
There will be naught to fear
The locks are done and dishes too
My laundry is complete
The fridge is stocked with sandwich stuff
So I’ll have things to eat
But even so it’s quiet here
I not sure what to do
But go to work and come back home
Repeat without todo
So here I sit in empty home
With laptop, wallet, phone
To be here until they come back
To be here home alone
