It seems that life would boring be
If everything went right
And all was left inside its place
When you turned off the light
But sometimes things don’t go as planned
And things spice up your week
Like when today I got the text
My ceiling had a leak
It wasn’t what I thought ideal
But I guess that is life
A struggle to maintain a room
Amidst the pain and strife
Though fortunately it turns out
That maintenance is on call
And they repaired the leaking roof
Before it took a fall
