I walk around the campus lawn
And sit in varied chairs
To hunt among a diverse set
And see some other lairs
The moving through my college home
Will take me to dead ends
But frequently the real result
Is running into friends
With just a hint of where you’ll be
I wander here and there
And sometimes in the library
Or on a random stair
I say hello by happenstance
Or maybe stay to chat
A schedule might be easier
But who has time for that
