Note
I think this poem has potential to be a better version of the presentation account, but I lack the energy to do it right now
The things of earth will pass away
But Christ remains our King
We’ll take our offerings to the throne
And there our anthems sing
But though he’s triumphed over death
And is the Lord of lords
He’s also been a child like us
And seen the Roman swords
When Simeon and Anna looked
They saw the deeper sight
They knew the days of dark were done
For dawning was the light
