The early morning rain was grim
But peaceful campus was
Without the bustle all around
And lacking active buzz
The quiet ere the storm of men
And women bustled down
From dorms around our college place
Apartments from downtown
The quiet was a simple thing
But it was rather nice
And unlike last weeks morning time
There was no fear of ice
