I yearn for mountains I’ve not seen
And golden desert sands
For forest dense and full of life
And canyons with rock bands
I want to go up to the moon
And look down on the globe
I want to go to martian plains
And walk through the wardrobe
The deepest ocean I would plumb
Caldera rim I’d climb
I’d watch stalagmites form in caves
If only I had time
But even if I saw those things
I yearn for something more
To see the warehouses of God
Where thunderbolts are stored
But even more than that I wish
That I could see the Lord
