I sat and read a book today
To get a little break
From George MacDonald’s scots in prose
I fear it didn’t take
I open up The Great Divorce
And read a little in
It’s got good wisdom in its page
About our life and sin
But then in walks MacDonald to
Be Lewis’ heaven guide
And I just laughed a goodly bit
Cause I can’t get outside
