The moonlight glitters in the surf
Cascading diamonds fall
And quartz in crests is made and breaks
Inside the seagull’s call

The stars majestic in the sky
Illuminate the sand
And each and every one aloft
Is placed there by God’s hand

In every wave formations built
Of countless tiny parts
Assembled all in holy work
By fathomless great art

And then it falls into the sea
Forever lost to time
Created yet with endless care
With beauteous sublime

Alike upon the shore there sits
In ever-changing dunes
The pummeled stones of yesteryear
Prepared through many moons

In language which no living man
Deciphers in his mind
A message of God’s love for us
Is there for us to find

In peaks and valleys sans tecton
They’re formed by drifting waves
Ornate as Himalaya range
And new with every lave

And yet amidst this handiwork
We run and dance around
Through given surf and shore frolic
And make a joyful sound
