As I look down from distant galaxy
My vision blurs with tears yet to be shed
Which are for you for you I cannot see
For though past all the planets we have sped
My heart grows fonder with each passing mile
As if a rubber band had bound my heart
To barest memories of darling smile
With tension growing as we drew apart
A cosmic rebound waiting to return
While heavens look upon my lonely ship
The same I hope you gaze into and yearn
For when fin’lly I’m free of skyward trip
I’ll touch the ground and see who I have missed
And give to you, my love, a long sought kiss
