Though lost and lonely many years
They maintained loyalty
To those who once had sent them off
Upon the foggy sea
They harvested, and built, and mined
They husbanded their flocks
Developed settlements and towns
They laid bricks and mined rocks
Developing an ocean fleet
They went were no man goes
To plumb the misty shades beyond
The depths of mere shadows
And finding gold they would rejoice
But not entirely
For they had yet to find their home
Which they’d not meant to flee
Until that shining, lovely day
When on horizon, sails!
Their fellows had forgotten not
Their brethren in their tales
And so united once again
The kingdom built and grew
Together as was good and right
It’s people right and true
Believe it or not, this was inspired by my recent victory in Settlers of Catan
