Though journeys through the air must end
They needn’t be for naught
The lessons learned, perspective gained,
Need height, ere they are taught

The flight is just the start of things
The memories will age
Like wine or cheese, improve with time
Despite a turning page

Construction seen from high above
Just starting in the build
Will grow beneath a watchful eye
Until the lots are filled

And mountains that have been surveyed
Will still need to be climbed
But lessons learned from up above
Will help with the incline

So though descent’s arriving soon
And trials surely come
Preserve the boon of flyovers
Let not your mind grow numb
