Lord bless this door that we walk in
Show us your narrow path
Let it go into a home of love
Without a place for wrath
Lord bless this living room as well
Make it a place where all
Can live with overflowing joy
Where we can hear your call
Lord bless the kitchen and the stove
Where we’ll prepare a feast
Prepare our hearts to welcome all
The greatest and least
Lord bless the bedroom and the bed
And give to us your rest
Support us in the darkness and
Uphold us in the test
Lord bless the bathroom porcelain
The tile and the throne
Let every moment glorify
Though awkward or alone
Lord bless the work room all the time
With diligence anew
May every thing that’s done in there
Be done as unto you
Lord bless the occupants and guests
And may they overflow
After their time spent in this home
On mission may they go
