We didn’t think we’d go that far
Given our handicap
We thought we’d poke our head outside
Then quit on the whole map
With Kaden on the movement stick
And I on the attack
We split the character controls
To divvy up the slack
And when we die we swap joycons
To give the spice of life
And vary how we feel the pain
Amid the gaming strife
We made it through the starting room
Where we had meant to quit
And then continued just for fun
Went on a little bit
But then we slew a second boss
Got powers to evolve
Developed skills to master jumps
The puzzles we all solved
And as we climbed it slowly dawned
We moved faster than first
We ever played the game ourselves
Our gameplay was not worst
And now we’ve made it halfway through
Somehow we made it out
And that’s something I think’s insane
It makes me want to shout
We beat Act One, we’re on Act Two!
We might complete the game
And if we manage to do that
Our party won’t be tame
